Can you re deck around an existing pool?
Yes. Working around existing coping and an existing pool shell is a normal scope and does not require touching the pool itself.
Can artificial turf go right up to a pool?
Yes, and it is a common choice because it eliminates mowing debris near the water. Drainage detailing at the transition matters.
Does pool decking need a permit?
Replacing decking in the same footprint is often treated differently from changing the pool structure or the barrier. Pool barrier requirements are strictly enforced. We confirm the current rule with your city first.
