This site is published by MKW Homes Inc, a licensed general contractor in California, CSLB #1074934. It exists to explain what we do and to let you request a free estimate. Using the site means you accept the terms below.

The guides, service pages and answers on this site are general guidance written from experience. They are not a bid, a quote, or a promise about your specific project. Costs, timelines and permit rules depend on your property and your city, which is exactly why we come out and look before we give you a number. Nothing here is a substitute for a written scope and estimate.
Estimates and agreements
A real estimate follows a site visit and is given to you in writing. Any work we do is governed by the written agreement we sign with you, not by anything on this website. If the two ever differ, the signed agreement controls.
Our work and license
MKW Homes Inc holds California license CSLB #1074934. You can verify any California contractor licence, including ours, on the Contractors State License Board website. We carry general liability and workers compensation insurance, with certificates available on request.
Accuracy and availability
We try to keep the information on this site current and correct, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or always up to date, and permit rules in particular can change. Use it as a starting point and confirm anything that matters for your project with us or with your local building department.
