We keep the service area tight on purpose. Michael can be at your house the same week, and the crew spends the day on your job instead of in traffic. Each city has its own permit office, and knowing which one yours is saves real time.
Why it mattersLocal is a permit fact, not a slogan.
Most of the cities we work in run their own building department. Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Monrovia, Alhambra, Temple City and Bradbury each issue their own permits, with their own submittal requirements and their own review timelines. A contractor who works one city does not automatically know how the next one behaves.
Two of our areas are the exception. Altadena and La Crescenta are unincorporated Los Angeles County, so their permits go through LA County Public Works, not a city hall. People lose weeks starting at the wrong counter. We start at the right one.

We keep the service area small on purpose. It means Michael can walk your property the same week you call, and the crew spends the day building rather than sitting on the 210. A team that is close to the job shows up on time and finishes faster.

Do you charge to come out for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free across the whole service area, and Michael usually gets to the property the same week you call. There is no deposit to get a written scope and price.
My city is not on the list. Will you still come?
Ask. The list is the area we can reach without the crew losing half a day to traffic. If you are just outside it, we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense, rather than take the job and show up late.
Do you know the permit process in my city?
Yes, and it is different in each one. Open your city page and it names the exact office that issues your permit and what tends to slow a project down there. That is the kind of thing that separates a local builder from one who guesses.
How soon can you start?
We keep the area tight partly so we can start quickly, often the same week for the walkthrough. The build date depends on the job and any permit or inspection waits, which we lay out in the written scope up front.
