Estate Pool & Grounds: paver frontage, turf and pool surround
A hillside estate where the outdoor work ties together a pool surround, artificial turf, a paver driveway with a turf ribbon inlay, an olive tree set into the lawn, and a stone pillar with a lantern at the entry. None of it holds up unless the grading and drainage are solved before the first paver or blade of turf goes down, which on a hillside lot is most of the work.

ScopeWhat the job actually involved.
Paver driveway with turf inlay
Pavers cut and laid so the turf ribbons between them stay a consistent width and the pattern resolves cleanly at the apron and the entry.
Pool surround and decking
Hardscape and turf detailed to sit level with the coping so the edge of the water reads as one clean line.
Turf on graded ground
Lawn set on a compacted base with drainage handled first, which on a sloping lot is what keeps the surface flat instead of rippling.
Entry stonework and planting
A stone pillar with a lantern, a mature olive set into the turf, and borders that frame the frontage.
