Project
Primary Bathroom Remodel: travertine floor to ceiling
A full gut primary bathroom finished in large format travertine run floor to ceiling, with a floating cherry vanity, brushed brass throughout, a backlit mirror, and a frameless glass shower. We floated every wall dead flat before a single tile went up, because at this size one bowed stud shows in every joint.

ScopeWhat the job actually involved.
Large format travertine
Run floor to ceiling, dry laid first so the pattern lands on a full tile at the niche and the corners instead of finishing on a sliver. The substrate was floated flat before any tile went up, because at this size every joint shows.
Floating cherry vanity
A wall hung cherry build with a solid surface top and brushed brass fixtures, set so the floor reads continuous underneath it.
Backlit mirror and hidden wiring
The mirror and the recessed glass shelving were wired before the board went on, which is the only way to get a clean lit reveal with no visible trim or cords.
Frameless glass shower
Set against the travertine with brushed brass fittings, glazed after the tile so the panels sit tight to the finished surface.
